一個(gè)偶然的機會(huì )，KM Formenbau在展會(huì )上看到了m&h在機測量方案的演示，立即決定訂購一臺配有m&h測頭的機器?，F在公司的機床測頭已經(jīng)全部更換為m&h品牌的機床測頭。這對m&h來(lái)說(shuō)是輕而易舉的，他們的測頭可以和其它廠(chǎng)家的紅外接收器無(wú)縫兼容。

KM Formenbau工廠(chǎng)安裝了一套m&h在機測量軟件3D Form Control,自安裝以來(lái)，該軟件在KM Formenbau工廠(chǎng)運行良好，沒(méi)有出現任何問(wèn)題。一套3D Form Inspect軟件支持了現場(chǎng)的四臺機床，并共享了所有的測量程序。在實(shí)際測量開(kāi)始之前，軟件會(huì )根據用戶(hù)使用測頭角度的不同，自動(dòng)生成校驗程序并執行（已獲保護）。當然，用戶(hù)也可根據現場(chǎng)情況，直接進(jìn)行工件測量。通常，測量前實(shí)施校驗是必需的，尤其是對于高精度測量來(lái)說(shuō)。此種方法可以有效補償機床熱影響和旋轉軸系統誤差的影響。補償后的測量結果可以和三坐標測量機（CMM）的測量結果保持*。
